Join Healing Ribbons for our third annual fashion, "The Art of Healing: Stories, Stitches, and the Sacred." This unique event celebrates the power of cultural healing and is the culmination of a year-long program that integrates therapeutic talking circles, regalia making, fellowship meals, and traditional ceremonies. We create culturally relevant healing opportunities where participants transform personal stories of grief, survival, and healing into powerful artistic expressions.
Healing Ribbons was founded in 2022 by Tami Buffalohead McGill and Rebecca Sullivan on the belief that there is power in gathering and that our matriarchs and their families need a safe space to share, celebrate, heal, and create. The first annual Art of Healing Fashion Show in 2023 was the direct request of our participants, who wanted to showcase their work and give visibility to Indigenous women.
